
Turmeric contains polyphenols, the most important curcumin, which has both anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It can help fight infections, reduce inflammation and improve digestion.
Ingredients: (makes 4 servings)
1/2 tsp-1tsp of Turmeric
6 Mint leaves
1 Orange
1 Lemon
1 Peach
1 pinch black pepper
4 C water
Directions:
1. Bring the water to a boil and pour it into a pot to steep. Add the turmeric and mint. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
2. In a large jar add the cut fruit and pepper. Pour the turmeric tea over the fruit. Leave the turmeric sediment in the jar.
