
Replace, don’t restrict is something I find myself telling my clients on a regular basis. If you restrict yourself from eating the things you love you’ll end up binging on them. Most people remain consistent with their healthy eating when they have options. If you love oatmeal cookies this is a good, healthy alternative. Save this if you’re a cookie lover!
Ingredients:
11 dates pitted
1 1/2 C Rolled oats
3 tbsp Maple syrup
1/2 C Nut butter or granola butter
1/3 C Mini chocolate chips
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Add all the ingredients except the chocolate chips to a food processor and process until a sticky dough forms.
2. In a small bowl mix the dough and the chocolate chips until they’re incorporated
3. Use a tablespoon to scoop out about 12 balls. Roll them until they’re smooth and store them on parchment paper in an air right container at room temperature. Don’t refrigerate them they’ll dry out.
