
After my last Immunity Prevention Bomb there were a lot of questions about what you can drink once you’re already sick. The answer to that is Elderberry and Vitamin C. In functional medicine this is what we use to help those that are currently sick among other food medicines however this one is the easiest and can be stored frozen making it readily available when you need it.

Ingredients:
2 Oranges
2 Lemons
1/2 C Pineapple juice or guava
2 Ginger roots about 3” long
Elderberry syrup (note about this below)
Directions:
1. Slices the ginger and boil it for 10 min in 2 cups of water. Let it cool until just warm
2. Juice the lemons and oranges into a pitcher. Add the pineapple juice. Add the ginger tea (not the actual ginger pieces) to the pitcher and stir
3. In each mold add 1 dose of elderberry- dose will vary by product and if you’re making them for children or adults
4. Pour the juice into each mold and freeze!
*Elderberry doses vary by the syrup used and if they’re for children or adults. Make sure you add the elderberry to the molds and not the juice as this could distribute the roses unevenly.
