ALLERGY FRIENDLY S’MORE COOKIES 🍪 Follow @domenique_trupia for more easy, healthy recipes
**Share with your food allergy moms** As a food allergy mom I’m always looking for ways to make my son feel included and less restricted. Recently he was offered a cookie at our local grocery store (a typical practice at this store) which we politely refused because of his allergies. While this has happened before I think this was the first time he actually wanted the cookie. We both cried that day. Where there’s a determined mom, there’s a way. I wanted to share this in case anyone else suffers from the same allergies.

*These are dairy free, nut free, egg free, sunflower free and sesame free. The marshmallows contain soy and depending on which graham cracker you use this can be gluten free as well.
Ingredients:
•Large @dandies marshmallows (contain soy)
•Cookie dough @sweetlorens (top 14 free) note some flavors have expeller pressed sunflower oil and they’re all made on shared lines so if you have a sunflower allergy you may want to check with your Dr about cross contamination sensitivity.
•Dairy free chocolate (enjoy life bars or other DF chocolate)
•Graham crackers (GF or regular) I used Annie’s
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. Layer the graham cracker, chocolate, marshmallow and cookie dough in that order. TIP: cut the marshmallow in half and put the stick side down on the chocolate. For the cookie dough microwave it for 20 seconds so it’s malleable and evenly drape it over the marshmallow. If it’s on an angle the cookie will fall off while baking. If it does put it back on top of the pile while it’s still hot so it dries in the right place
3. Bake for 9-11 minutes they will be just slightly light brown
4. Allow the cookie to completely cool before eating.
