
This recipe is not for perfectionists! The hardest part is making all the balls the same size and smooth. So don’t beat your self up!
Ingredients:
1 Refrigerated pizza dough- I used a wholly Wholesome brand
2 Packages of Babybel Plant based cheese (or vegan cheese of your choice)
Italian seasoning
Salt
2 tbsp Olive oil
Pizza or tomato sauce
Flour
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. Cut the cheese into quarters. Using small pieces of dough wrap them around the cheese and use a little flour on each to help roll them into ball shapes. Make sure they’re sealed otherwise the cheese will leak out
3. Create a tree pattern
4. Brush the dough balls with olive oil and sprinkle italian seasoning and salt over the top
5. Bake for about 25 minutes or until the dough is lightly browned and crispy. Allow them to cool for 10 minutes before serving so no one gets burned by the cheese. Serve with the tomato sauce on the size.
