Anti-Inflammatoy Peach Iced Tea
Equipment
- 1 Large pitcher, mine is 84.5oz
- 1 Hand juicer
Ingredients
- 10 C Filtered Water
- 5 Organic black tea bags
- 4 Ripe peaches sliced
- 2 tbsp Fresh grated ginger
- 2 tsp Turmeric
- 2 tbsp Fresh squeezed lemon juice
- 3-4 tbsp Honey, adjust to taste
- Pinch Black pepper to activate the turmeric
- Ice
- Optional: lemon slices, mint or peach slices to garnish
Instructions
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the black tea bags, ginger and turmeric. :et steep 10-15 minutes
- Remove the tea bags and strain
- Squeeze half the peaches in a hand juicer. Stir in honey, lemon juice and black pepper
- Add ice to the pitcher. Pour the tea over the ice. Add 6 cups of cool water. Add lemon slices and remaining peach slices. Mix
- Refrigerate 2-4 hours or overnight for a stronger peach flavor
