Creamsicle Ice Cream• Dairy free

2lbs Mandarin Oranges, peeled and segmented
1C or more of Oat milk ( coconut and almond work as well)
*If you’re using unflavored oat milk, almond or coconut add 1 tsp vanilla for a richer flavor)
1 tsp Vanilla (or more, depends on how much vanilla flavor you like, add 1 tsp at a time )

Directions:
- Peel and segment the oranges. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and transfer all the segments to the sheet without overlapping them.
- Freeze for at least 2 hours
- Add all the segments to a blender and blend them into a sand like consistency-it will look dry and that’s normal. Add the milk slowly until you get the desired consistency. You may need more than 1 C milk to all depends on the oranges. It’s best to add the milk 1/4 of a C at a time until you get the desired consistency. When you get to the desired texture add the vanilla 1 tsp at a time until you’re happy with the flavor. For me just 1 tsp was perfect!
- Serve immediately or freeze until ready to use!
