Gut Healthy Breakfast Banana Bread
Equipment
- 1 9×5 Loaf pan
- 1 Mixing bowl
Ingredients
Wet Ingredients
- 3 Ripe, spotty bananas
- 2 Eggs
- 1/3 C Nut butter, granola butter or sunbutter
- 1/4 C Pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp Pure vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
- 1 1/2 C Oat flour, gluten free
- 2 tbsp Chia seeds optional substitute: hemp seeds, more oat flour
- 1 scoop Collagen peptides or vegan protein powder Collagen is more gut friendly it helps support the gut lining
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Pre heat oven to 350F. Line a 9×5' loaf pan with parchment paper or grease with coconut oil
- In a mixing bowl combine all the dry ingredients
- In a second mixing bowl combine all the wet ingredients. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix well
- Pour into the loaf pan. Bake for 45-55 minutes until a toothpick in the center comes out clean
