Crispy Burgers

Using a tortilla that’s about 100 calories shaves 300 calories off your typical burger because most brioche buns are 300-400 calories each!

Ingredients: 1 pattie per tortilla = 1 serving.
Cooked Burger patties (I used turkey, you can use beef or even veggies burgers)
Tortillas
Sweet potato fries, cooked- Plan for 6-8 fries per tortilla. I like to make 2-3lbs so there’s extra to pick on
Pickles (I like Grillo’s)
Burger sauce (recipe below)

toppings:
lettuce
tomato
cheese, I used vegan cheese
onions
relish
ketchup
mustard

Ingredients for vegan burger sauce:
1/4 C Ketchup
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp mustard
2 tsp relish
1 C vegan mayo
1/8 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp apple cider vinegar

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 400F
2. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper or tin foil. Pour 2 tbsp olive oil on the pan and spread it.
3. Put the tortillas on top of the oil and make sure they’re coated on one side.
4. Layer your burger sauce, burger patties, fries, cheese (if using) and pickles.
5. Fold the tortillas over and put a pan on top of them so they crisp on all sides.
6. Bake for 10 minutes or until the top of the tortilla is golden brown
7. When you remove them from the oven you can add lettuces, tomato, onion or whatever toppings you’re using.
