Gut Friendly, Dairy Free Cookies n Cream Fix

One of my favorites when I’m craving something sweet! Adding prebiotic fiber to your yogurt bowl turns it from a simple snack into a gut-healing, blood sugar–balancing powerhouse. Prebiotic fibers (like inulin, resistant starch, or partially hydrolyzed guar gum) feed your beneficial gut bacteria, helping them produce short-chain fatty acids that support digestion, reduce inflammation, and strengthen the gut lining. When paired with yogurt’s probiotics, you create a synbiotic effect—meaning you’re both adding good bacteria and feeding them at the same time. The added fiber also slows glucose absorption, keeping you fuller longer and preventing blood sugar spikes, which is especially helpful for energy, hormones, and cravings.

Equipment

  • 1 Small bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 C Dairy free thick yogurt of your choice, I used coconut yogurt
  • 1 Serving Sunwarrior prebiotic fiber
  • 1 Serving Vanilla protein powder or collagen
  • 1 tsp Pure vanilla extract
  • 4-6 Chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed I used Kinniikinnick gluten free they're the cleanest I've found

Instructions

  • In a small bowl combine the yogurt, protein, prebiotic fiber and vanilla until smooth. Add the crushed cookies and serve!
