10 Minute Chicken Wonton Soup

•One pot, 10 minutes•
•Dairy free, Sesame free, Nut free, Egg free•
Ingredients: Makes 4 servings
1 Package Trader Joe’s Chicken Cilantro Mini Wontons *** Please note that these wontons are made on a shared line with sesame and possibly other allergens. Please call to confirm your allergens as this can change at anytime.
2 C Napa Cabbage sliced
1-2 C Shredded carrots
1 C Sliced mushrooms, baby bella or white cap
1 inch fresh ginger grated or minced
1 Clove garlic minced
1 tbsp Olive oil
3 tbsp Diced green onions
4 C Broth -I used Kitchen Basics low sodium h chicken broth
(optional) Some people like to add soy sauce, sesame oil or chili crunch to their soups
Directions:
1. In a large saucepan heat the olive oil. Add the garlic and ginger and stir for 1 minutes. Add the carrots, cabbage, broth and mushrooms and bring to a boil. Let the mixture boil for 4-5 minutes until the carrots are tender.
2. Add the wontons. When the pot returns to a boil, boil for 3 minutes (if using a different brand of wontons follow the cooking directions on your package)
3. Serve the soon warm with optional toppings on the side
