Immunity Boosting Sipping Broth

Ingredients:
4 C Bone broth (I use kitchen basics brand. If you haven’t had bone broth before it’s a slightly bitter and heavier taste than regular broth) You can also use water if you don’t have bone broth or chicken broth as a substitute
6 Cloves garlic, grated (make sure the garlic is fresh, if it’s old it will be very bitter)
2 Scallions
2 tbsp Grated fresh ginger
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp Avocado oil
1/2 C Mellow white miso paste
Directions:
1. In a large pot heat the bone broth until it starts boil and remove it from the heat. Let cool for 5 minutes
2. While the bone broth is warming up grate your ginger and garlic. Slice your scallions.
3. In a small bowl mix the miso paste and 1 C of the broth. Mix until the miso paste is dissolved. Pour this bowl back into the pot with the rest of the broth.
4. Split the scallions, ginger and onion evenly into 2-4 bowls and pour the broth over them. Mix and eat immediately
By letting the broth cool before adding the miso we avoid killing the probiotics that it contains. To re-heat any extras try to heat until the mixture just begins to steam but not boil.
