Homemade Vitamin C Water

I realize that some of you won’t be able to get watermelon this time of year where you live. In south Florida it’s still readily available so we use it frequently. Alternatives you can use are kiwi, mango, guava, cantaloupe or grapefruit (assuming it doesn’t interfere with your medications)
I used
2 C watermelon
1 pineapple
2 Oranges
2 Limes
10 Strawberries
1 Gallon of filtered water
I let them marinate for two hours in the water. Then I drain the water into a container that fits in the refrigerator and drink it for up to 3 days.
You can eat the fruit when you’re finished if you’d like to. I mostly used overripe fruit so there’s no food waste.
