Equipment
- 1 Small saucepan
- 1 Mug
- 1 Frother or spoon
Ingredients
- 1 C Dairy free milk preferably oat or a milk without calcim Calcium blocks iron absorption
- 1 tbsp Milamend chocolate supplement Replacing coffee because coffee blocks iron absorption and Milamend blend has iron and hormone supporting supplements
- 1 tsp Molasses Iron rich, adds sweetness
- 1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon Anti-inflammatory
- 1 tsp Honey or pure maple syrup Sweetner
- 1 tsp Collagen peptides Stabilize blood sugar
- 1 drop Lemon juice Vit C to help absorb the iron
Optional
- 1-2 tbsp Coconut whipped cream
Instructions
- In a small saucepan warm the milk.
- In your mug add the Milamend, molasses, cinnamon, lemon drop, maple syrup or honey and collagen. Pour the milk on top and milk well or use a frother
- *Optional: I like to top mine with coconut whipped cream to make it extra creamy
