Turkey Burger Sliders & Special Sauce

Ingredients (serves ~4 / 8–10 sliders)
For the sweet potato buns:
2 large sweet potatoes (cut into ½-inch rounds) 1–2 tbsp olive oil Sea salt
For the turkey sliders:
1 lb ground turkey 15-85% works best
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
¾ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp black pepper
Optional: 1 tbsp finely chopped parsley for an herbed turkey burger
For toppings:
Butter lettuce or romaine Tomato slices Red onion (thinly sliced) Pickles (optional but 🔥)
🥣 Dairy-Free “Special Sauce”
⅓ cup avocado oil mayo
1 tbsp ketchup
1–2 tsp mustard
1 tbsp finely chopped pickles or relish
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp paprika
1 tsp apple cider vinegar (for tang)
Mix until smooth and refrigerate while cooking.
🔥 Instructions
1. Roast the sweet potato “buns”
Preheat oven to 425°F
Slice sweet potatoes into rounds (these are your “buns”)
Toss with olive oil + salt Roast for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until tender and slightly caramelized
2. Make the turkey slider patties
Mix turkey with spices + olive oil Form into small slider-sized patties (slightly thinner than you think—they puff up)
Heat a pan over medium Cook 4–5 minutes per side until fully cooked and golden
3. Assemble
Sweet potato round Lettuce Turkey patty Tomato + onion Drizzle of special sauce Another sweet potato round on top
