Gut Healthy Apple Chips

Apples contain both soluble and insoluble fiber which feed healthy gut bacteria and help with motility. Pairing them with cinnamon and ginger adds additional anti-inflammatory properties.

Ingredients:
3 Apples
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4-1/2 tsp ground ginger

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 200F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper
2. Slice your apples using a mandolin or a very sharp knife. Then need to be 1/8” or smaller to crisp up
3. Spread the apple slices on the baking sheets. Be sure that they don’t touch or overlap. Sprinkles the seasonings on top.
4. Bake for 1 hour and then flip the apples over and bake for another hour. Let them cool before eating or storing in an air tight container
