PMS Brownies

•Dairy free, Gluten free, No refined sugar•
Dark chocolate is magnesium rich and lowers prostaglandins which cause cramping
Peanut Butter is high in B vitamins and Zinc to remineralize your blood
Pasture raised eggs have B vitamins and Omega 3 for hormone health
Salt to keep you hydrated and reduce fluid retention
Ingredients: Makes 12
2 C Natural Peanut butter or Granola butter
2 Eggs
2 C Dark chocolate chips + extra to sprinkle on top
1 1/4 C Pure Maple Syrup
1/2 C Cocoa powder or Cacao powder
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp table salt
*Flakey salt for topping
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. In a mixing bowl blend the maple syrup and peanut butter with a hand mixer on low until combined
3. Add the eggs and vanilla, mix until combined
4. Add the cocoa powder, baking soda and table salt until full incorporated
5. Pour the batter into either a 9×13 pan or and individual brownie pan
6. Sprinkle the chocolate on top
7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, the middle should be slightly gooey.
8. After removing the brownies from the oven sprinkle the flakey salt on top and allow them to cool 30-40 minutes before eating
