Buldak Steak & Rice

Ingredients for steak:
1lb steak, sliced
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1 yellow onion, sliced
Pinch of salt
Ingredients for rice:
3 C cooked rice
3 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 C broccoli florets
3 finely chopped scallions and more for topping
1 C mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp Buldak hot sauce
Hot sauce for steak:
2 tbsp Buldak hot sauce
1 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tsp rice wine vinegar
1 tsp fresh grated ginger
1 heaping tsp garlic, minced
Directions:
1. Pre heat oven to 400F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Add your veggies to the tray and drizzle oil. Roast for 15 minutes.
3. While the veggies are cooking add 2 tbsp of Buldak sauce to your cooked rice. Pour the mixture over the vegetables making an even layer. Return the tray to the oven for 20 minutes or until the rice reaches the desired level of crispiness
4. While the rice is baking prepare the hot sauce by whisking together Buldak, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, ketchup and rice wine vinegar. Set the sauce aside
5. Heat a skillet on medium-high and add 2 tbsp vegetable oil. Add the steak and season with salt. Add the onions and cook until the onions are soft and beginning to caramelize and the steak is cooked.
6. Pour the hot sauce over the steak and onions and allow to simmer for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
Serve warm with crispy rice!
